Comments: Different edition. Hardcover, no dj, ex-library with usual markings, this is an undated, older copy of Samuel Taylor Coleridge by Hugh I'Anson Fausset from Harcout, Brace & Company (NY.) Folded into it is a newspaper clipping from an unknown 1927 newspaper showing a photo of Coleridge, making me think that this edition of the book was published around the same time. The sturdy boards look like older library binding, with ivory front and back patterned in darker veins, reinforced at spine and corners with dark brown library tape. The edges and endpapers are foxed. The title page has come loose and several pages after it are loose and shaken. Where the newspaper was folded, the paper underneath has browned. The pages are clean. If you want an acceptable copy of the text from an older, slightly non-intact book, this is it.
