by Walter M., Jr. MILLER
Product Group: Book
ISBN: B0028OSMTW
Hardcover
Condition: Good
Comments: Hardcover with dj from Bantam Spectra Books (1988), this is A CANTICLE FOR LEIBOWITZ by Walter M. Miller, Jr., color jacket art (a single picture that wraps around the entire cover, front and back) by Peter Jones. 15th Bantam printing. This is most likely a Book Club Edition although it does not say so. But there is no price on inside dj, and although the paper looks like a better quality than the typical coarse BCE paper, the red boards with gilt lettering look only partially cloth, with a partially paper pastedown. The pages are unmarked with a little edge dust, the binding tight. The dj is chipped at the edges, and rubbed. This is actually the first hardcover copy of this seminal SF classic that I have ever run across. BCE or not, you may want it on your shelf.
